Whether you love of hate Triple H, you have to respect the man. He has done so much in is career and continues to get bigger and better. Triple H first appeared in WCW, but quickly jumped ship to the WWF when he was released. His debut character was of an “American Blueblood”, hence the name Hearst Hemsley. To get him over as a heel the name Hunter was added to tell the crowd he was an avid fox-hunter. This ensured his heel status would remain. Triple H’s character at this time was actually quite good. It certainly wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Triple H used to carry a perfume bottle and spry his opponents to gain cheap wins. However even this early in his career he was a successful grappler. After a while his real-life girlfriend Chyna joined him and appeared as his female bodyguard.
For a few years Triple H was a prominent heel, wrestling in the mid-card level feuding with Mankind for a while (a forecast of future events). Then he got his big break when he teamed up with Shawn Michael’s to form Generation-X. However it was only about a week until the group changed their name to D-Generation X, on account of Jim Ross constantly referring to the team as “a couple of degenerates”. D-X then turned face after Michael’s left after his defeat at Wrestlemania 1998. D-X then went from face to heel, back to face and then once again to heel. By the time of the Triple H’s marriage to Stephanie, D-X was a shadow of its former self. About a year later they officially split up.
Triple H is currently out for about 6-8 months due to a torn thigh muscle.

Triple H is the only wrestler to have had such a radical character change overnight, but never even change his name!
