Next time Sven Goran Eriksson is in London, he should go down to Stamford Bridge and have a look at the talent on show. Ok there aren’t exactly many Englishmen at Chelsea but at the moment, Jon Harley is what our National team is crying out for. Hes got it all, speed skill vision and hes also left footed! There is no better left back at chelsea and for that matter in england! He wouldnt have made that pathetic tackle that Phil Neville did had he been playing against romania. I think it is only a matter of time before this youngster gets a shot at chelsea. He established himself as our number one left back for a lot of last season under Vialli, only to be frozen out by Ranieri. So come on claudio, give John a chance! ...

Another product from the Lilleshall School of excellence who made such an impression in his first year he was taken on even before the second year at his school of excellence. Harley as a fast skilful left sided midfielder or defenderI if he can add some assertiveness he could have a big future. He made a very impressive debut and showed lots of potential in subsequent games but really burst onto the scene around Christmas with some stunning performances. Very much one to watch!
