Hello everyone :-)

I'm actually not classed as a new member on here anymore (doesn't time fly?!) but thought I would introduce myself anyway as I have only been around for about a month.

My name is Amanda and I am SomethingToBe.... which sounds a bit big headed when put like that!!! It's actually a song lyric by Rob Thomas (who is the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty, aka my favourite band in the world- obvious if you read my reviews!!!!) which I though was kinda cool.... hence the username.

I'm currently doing a business degree at university and am in my final year, so not only do I enjoy writing on here, it is a welcome distraction from all the essays I have to write! I had a year out last year and entered the real world for a bit, which I actually miss!! So am looking forward to graduating in June and making my own way in work.

My reviews at the moment are mainly music based or cosmetics based. Music is my biggest love in life, I love to sing and dance and am trained in the latter (sadly for my housemates, not the former!). I have loads of CDs, so I do enjoy reviewing them and I sing all the time, probably quite annoying!!! Also I think for us girls, cosmetics reviews and recommendations are really useful as so little separates the main brands these days on first inspection.

The money I get from this site is going to my travelling fund. I am travelling South America with a friend for 6 months-ish from Janurary next year, so I thought any money I get from here can go on supplies such as backpacks, walking boots etc. I am really looking forward to it, it is what is keeping me going through all these assignments!!!!

I tend to base my reviews more on my opinions rather than much product information as people can find that kind of thing anywhere. Obviously opinions are just that, but on a site like this I think it is more useful to hear what people thing as opposed to what they can find out by reading a box!

Thanks for everyone's comments, I love reading them! Also thanks for the ratings.... my first reviews were getting some Us, but now generally getting VUs so it's looking promising!
