Thierry Henry is a fantastic player and posseses great football skills and dribbling ability as well as an ability to score great goals. He originally started as a winger probably due to his pace and dribbling ability but was converted by Wenger to a striker. His ability to finish and score goals proved to be ... more

I am not a fan of Arsenal but this guy was a truly fantastic player when he played for them. This meant that even fans of other clubs like myself could also admire and appreciate his talent as a footballer. After a relatively subdued beginning to his footballing career, under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, Thiery Henry became a club legend and a superstar in the football world. He has since moved on to Barcelona where he has continued to be successful. Thierry Daniel Henry was born on the 17th of August 1977 in Paris in a tough neighbourhood to his parents- a father from Guadeloupe and a mother originally from from Martinique-both considered as overseas regions of ...  Read the complete review

Thierry Henry is amazing. I'm 20 years old so I'm not in the best position to judge whether on not he is the best player to walk the earth, but this is all about opinion, and in mine he is. He started his career at AS Monaco and then joined the Italian team Juventus. His season there wasn't a great start and then he joined Mr Wenger at the mighty ARSENAL, replacing the biggest sulk in football, Anelka. This is where it all started. Theirry made his name at the Gunners by becoming a prolific goalscorer and brilliant player! With the gooners he won 2 Prem titles and 3 FA cups! Get in. He was also successful with the French squad winning the World Cup (1998) and Euro ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Thierry Henry: Bloody good gooner (253 words)

Man am i turning in 2 a gooner or summat? Why is this my second op on Arsenal today? Well i know i love watching classy football and love excellent passing and movement (and i love watching Liverpool too). So Arsenal, as i have written in my other op, are bloody awesome. So monsieur Henry. What can i say about him that hasn't already been said about him - he is absolutely awesome. His ability to slice through any defence is phenomenal. How on earth he has so much pace is beyond me. And the fact that he isn't the most strongest of strikers is irrelevant as he only needs to use his turn of pace and awesome skills to get past any defence. Since ...  Read the complete review
