There are three types of beggers:
1. honest, hard working people who are down on their luck, or lost their job, and have know family and friend support.

2. Mentally ill people who can't support themselves

3. Lazy pigs, who want eveyone to do everything for them, and take from others, and then complain about there misery, when they are the ones who made the bad choices that led them into their poverty.

The people of category 1, I feel the most pitty for, because it is not there fault, and they have nobody to get them back on their feet. I believe that if any man or woman is willing to work, and put some effort into it, they should be provided with a job. The sick thing about this world is that everyone is so selfish, and greedy. I have put many applications in, and I have not heard a word. I am lucky that I have family support, or I would be on the steet. To tell you the truth alot employers don't give a damn, if your on the street, starving, or dead. All they care about is money. How much money will I lose if I have to pay him every hour. Many employers are greedy, evil beasts, who have no heart. I understand why employers can't hire everyone, because it will hurt their company, but their are some employers who are heartless, believe me. When a man is on the street, without shelter, or food, the excuse about companies laying people off in order to save money is like a stab in the gut. I told you the companies that hire, don't care. They will watch you starve, just to save money. I believe there is some good empolyers out there, but I have yet to see one.

Now for category 2. Like I said the Mentally ill can't support themselves, but in my country they have plenty of food. Do you know why? Because the U.S goverment supports these people with S.S.I, which is free money. Social Security aid is a great system, which provides sick people with about 700 U.S a month. Even if these people are homeless, they c
an eat as much seafood or hamburgers, as they desire. So they don't have any need for begging. The reason they are homeless is because of lack of family or friend support.

The people of category 3 have no excuse, they are running on all gears. They are just lazy, and if you provide for them, that will just encourage their lazyness. These people just have bad character, and deserve what they get. They make bad choices, and never learn from them.

As you can see family and friend support is the most important and the most effective way of getting people off the street. If you have an honest friend who lost his job or is out of luck, open your house to him until he gets back on his feet. He will never forget it, and will love you for it. It would be nice if people would do these types of things out of the kindess of their heart, instead of personal gain.
