Advantages: Maybe less people who are drunk

Disadvantages: Not as many people will be able to attend

There's no denying that something needs to be done to try and lower the amount of violence at football matches.
It causes disruption, injuries and money and is surely one of the main reasons England got no where near being chosen to hold the World Cup next time.
However, if you make football matches earlier, you may have fewer drunk people there, but there's still a large number of people who cause trouble and aren't drunk. Also, many fans may not be able to attend the matches so early, because of work commitments etc. Why should true fans have to suffer?
I can't think of a solution to this problem, and I don't think anybody ever will. The only thing that may help, is if police are stricter and give tougher penalties for violence.
