I have finally found an effective way to study (for me). Clearly everyone differs in their studying/revision techniques, and for that matter, their motivation to study as well! I have friends who have taken exams recently with the attitude "I'll feel worse about failing if I don't work than if I do". Personally I don't see the point in being at university with this attitude. (By the way, my studying methods are biased towards essay subjects). I went to University after having a year after school to work and basically get some money saved up so I can tell you that I went to university completely out of the working vibe. You see many people choose to go to university straight after school but me I was not ready and fed up of studying at that time. By the time September came and I was going away to university in a couple of weeks I did begin to panic about whether I was going to be able to study effectively after having such a long time off. Firstly I'd like to say this comes from my own experience and that drawn from my family members 4 of which attended University. I am currently a second year student so I obviously have passed one set of end of year exams although considering my first exam is tommorrow for second year finals I doubt I will continue the form onto this year! Work gets harder as you get older obviously and this should always be considered when you choose your subject, don't choose something you got a C for at A-level your bound to struggle at Uni.
