Hulk Hogen - Why was he always made to look good at the expense of other wrestlers?

I recently brought a number of wrestling tapes from the late 80's early 90's and after watching them all twice I came to one conclusion about Hulk Hogen(who was on all of them).

He comes to the ring like he owns the damn place - ripping the stupid T-shirt(that is already ripped you can see the rip)he gets in the ring and does his pathetic hulk routine that drives me mad - then he wrestles and gets beaten up then all of a sudden he starts the most ridiculous thing since the peoples elbow, he starts to hulk - you know when he looks up and puff's his cheeks out then does the shaking thing then he points and starts acting like a super human person which ends in him dropping the leg drop and winning the match sparking the poses.

Now don't get me wrong I do not hate Hogen - in fact i think that his Hulkamania club was one of the biggest fan bases around and he helped transform wrestling but why the hell does he have to do the crap routine every time? it is rubbish I have watched about 25 of his WWF matches and he has won them all in the same way there is nothing different and he makes the other wrestlers look bad doing that stupid hulking thing I mean how fake is that, to be honest it was the happiest day of my wrestling watching life when I saw Hulk leave WCW because he has no talent what so ever and the fact that he has lasted this long is confusing, even the Big Show job's for god's sake.

Now I know that Hogen was popular(god knows why)but if he tried that crap today? - I doubt he would last a month - I saw him take on Undertaker for the title? and I said to myself this is UK Rampage and there is no way Undertaker is keeping that title because his challenger was Hogen and How dare Undertaker even
think of keeping Hulk's title who does Undertaker think he is even contemplating walking out of that building with Hogen's title(sarcasm is a great thing).

Now I brought a tape today that said on the front "Hulk Hogan's Greatest Matches and I noticed when I finished watching it that there was 3 matches on it (wow has he had that many good matches?) and I have just now stopped laughing about it - I mean come on three bloody matches?(for the record they were as follows

Hogan vs Undertaker(title match)
Hogan vs Andre(Wrestlemania 3)
Hogan and Duggen vs SGTSlaughter and Mustafa)

well done Mr Hogan.

I still wonder why the fans loved Hogan - after all he never had a lot of wrestling moves in his arsenal - He never showed any skill - it confuses me to this day.

I think Wayne Manor from Power slam said it perfectly and I quote "A year without Hogan is like a year in the post-game shower of a celebrity sports event - in which the players are Gillian Anderson, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Elizabeth Hurley and Serena Williams - and your in charge of soaping.".

That says it all for me really.
