Ice Hockey in General

I have been an ice hockey player now for 3 years. I am part of a team at the Cardiff Ice Rink. As you may or may not know, it is the only ice rink in Wales and the council are now determined to knock it down to place a new David Morgan shopping centre. I think this is scandalous, where are our ice hockey teams meant to go? There are rumours of building a new rink in the bay, but surley that will be a much more complicated journey for many people, and it may not be built for years to come yet. So what will become of our ice hockey teams, the Cardiff Devils and Cardiff Comets? I don't think this is fair, and we should rebel against this outrage. Something needs to be done, ...

The Odyssey Arena in Belfast is the home of the current champions the Belfast Giants. For those pucker fans from "the mainland" this is a great away trip and easy to get to. Although the home of the "Giants" it was recently the venue for the world amateur boxing championships. Game tickets are competitive by todays sporting standards. For a family of four a family ticket is around £28.00. Compare that to £28.00 for one person for a category "A" premier league football match. After 2 weeks that is the Winter Olympics over with. The games themselves havent been going on as long as the Olympic games. With which they have been going on for thousands of years. Various sports are competed here, but the one sport am away to write about is ice hockey. The two countries that are usually conected with ice hockey are Canada and the Usa. How ever other countries such as the Soviet countries are good. But Canada has always been the best. Canadas main sport obvouisly is ice hockey.
