Yes ok I admit it, I am addicted to the internet!! This has only become worse since getting my own laptop and therefore having no limitations of how long I can use the net for.

I use the laptop every single day without fail. I am not home all day as I am in full time college however, I still find time at home to have some some chill out time on the copmputer.

I mainly use the internet for facebook! Yes another facebook addict. :) I also use it to talk on MSN ( INstant messenger). This allows me to chat to friends who I may not have spoken to in a while or those who live away. This is very useful as it is free and instant. Long gone are the need to write letters! The internet can be used just to generally keep up to date with the things that are going on in this world. For example, you can recieve new updates which update you by the minute.

The internet provides us with pretty much anything we want to know. For example, if I was unsure of an actors name, I would simply have to type the name of the film into a search engine (normally Google) and lots of information will pop up. This is also the case if you need to find out further information on various topics. Definately handy if you have to complete college work.
I am able to keep my eye out for jobs online and also apply for jobs. This saves time spending hours writing out Cv's and applying for applications. Instead you send off a CV which then gets sent to jobs which you may be interested in.
