In the past, I was never interested in computers especially the internet. I always thought it's for people who are net savy and most of all computer genious. My life was more simple back then. If I have to do a research or need information for my homework, I go to the school library or Barnes & Noble.

I was naive about the net since I didn't kow much about it but when I saw my classmate surfed online, I found it quite fascinating. It didn't take a long time for me to get connected online. Once I got connected I surf the net not knowing where to start. The first thing I searched for was online tarot because I was pretty much interested in getting my tarot reading.

As I surfed for hours online, I had bookmarked a lot of sites. One of them, was playsite.com. I kept coming back to this game site to play reversi. You don't have to be registered to play. You can play as a guest. This site also have card games, board games, arcade, poker, casino, and etc.

From time to time, I go to MSN chatroom to chat. I've have made a lot of friends there. Most of them are from different countries. I get excited every single time my friends are online because we get to talk about our lives. I have an online friend from Holland. He is an Asian. We e-mail each other stories. Sometimes I couldn't believe the stories he sent me because some of them are quite shocking. In the past I used to write short stories and entered online contests. Since I didn't win anything I discontinued writing stories. As soon as I met Ronaldo from Holland, I started to write stories again. I learned to practice my short stories. So it's really a benefit for me.

In addition, I realized I'm the kind of person whbo likes to acquire things. Since I don't have money to buy things, I surfed online for free stuff. There are a lot of sites online that gives away freebies. All you have to do is give your name, address, an
d e-mail address. Sometimes these sites ask you to pay shipping and handling. I mostly searched for free cosmetics online, free samples, and free food samples. I already received in the mail the free stuff I ordered online. The rest I'm still waiting to receive.
