At the end of the day no-one who doesn't play the Lottery is going to put that pound away every week and after 10 years have a poxy £500 to spend. For a start your £500 pound in 10 years is going to be worth substantially less than it's face value. So what to do with the mystery pound everyone says we should save and not waste your money, well do what the hell you like with it it is YOUR pound, me however stupid you think I might be will put that little gold coloured coin on the desk of my local garage and buy me a Lottery ticket.

I don't particularly care that the odds are 14M to 1, I don't care if I lose my pound, it's mine to lose, and if the fates are on my side I might just get me a few quid back every now and then. If however they are smiling sarcastically down on me and my numbers come up, my first reaction will be to add a comment to those who write that it is a waste of a pound. Fate, Luck whatever you want to call it has a habit of popping up when unexpected, and you just never know when it's your turn............then again you might never get a turn as the odds suggest, but it's only a pound, a pound you've grafted for and therefore earned the right to spend it as you wish, you could just as easily put it towards your daily packet of fags and burn it away, you may wish to put it toward that cool pint of lager and **** it against a wall, who cares it's your pound and you can do what you like with it.

If you do play the lottery may fate and luck be on your side so that you too may return much richer and enter a comment such as I might when my numbers come up. If I lose I'm not going to go crying cause my pound has gone, I'll just look out the next one for the next draw and live in hope however distant she may be.
