Advantages: GReat players, manager, chairman....

Disadvantages: Never seem to quite do it

Inter Milan have one of the best squads in not only Italy but the whole of Serie A and the world. Yet why are they continuously languishing in the chasing pack i here you cry.
Well there are many reasons for this, one just simply being Moratti, who is not realistically prepared to always give his manager his full support, and niether his players. This was shown during Lippi's reign, when the team was under fire for poor performances, but thee was little sign of the chairman standing by his manager. So it is my hope that Tardelli, an exciting young manager who already has a fair experience with the Under-21 National side.
As for the squad in depth, well, i feel there is still some weakness at the back; Seb Frey is one of the most exciting young keepers around, and is ofcourse widely tipped to one day take over from a certain Fabien Barthez for France's No.1 jersey. however, with only the aging Ballota as cover, one is left wondering what may be the outcome should injuries and suspensions take their toll.
Defence wise, Blanc, was a great player, but it is now clear he does not have long at the top left in him, only possibly this season realistically. There is also the outstanding Croat Simic, who excels at both defending and driving the team forward. Ivan Cordoba is also a very exciting player in that he is prepared to go almost anywhere in his own half in order to win the ball back.
Di Biagio, who played superbly for Italy at Euro 2000, although he has had injury troubles since then. Club captain Javier Zanettie, who has become more of a midfielder of late, and is excellent, he can defend, and then bring the ball forward like a true midfield player. Seedorf, is slightly patchy form wise, although when he is on the top of his game he can really add another dimension to Inter's game when playing behind the front two. ALso brilliant in the position, and upfront is "Il Chino" or Rebcoba, who I for one hope does sing a new contract a
nd stay at Inter after this season. UP front the are two of the world's best strikers in Ronaldo and Vieri, but they have hardly playted together, yet those who fill in don't do a bad job. Keane, Zamarano and even Sukur has been known to play well. The youth of Inter is also in a good state with the likes of Pirlo, Brochi, Farinos etc meaning that Inter hsould be a good side for years to come.
