Jet Ski ... Industries, Ltd.. The name, however, has become a genericized trademark for any type of personal watercraft. Jet ski (or jetski, often shortened to ski) can also specifically refer to versions of PWCs with pivoting handlepoles known as stand-ups. Since jetskiing has evolved through the 90s other companies like Yamaha, Bombardier and Polaris have joined the sport to make it into a worldwide sport in both racing and freestyle.

Newest Review: ... Warning-the engine pushes hot water onto your private parts, which can feel unpleasant due to the pressure of the water. Once you are confident, you pull your knees up onto the jet ski. It is very important to keep your speed constant, otherwise the the jet ski tends to "jump" along in the water and is unsteady. I found it very hard to get started, but once you do get going it is ... more

My boyfriend took me jet ski-ing as a surprise on my birthday. We went to a lake within a water park in the Cotswalds. I have to say, as we waited our turn, it looks a lot easier than it is! Our instructor took us through the basics and then we were let loose on the lake. You have a long coiled peice of plastic that attaches you to the jet ski. Jet-skiing may be seen as a lazy sport by some, but I believe that if you have ever dome it for as little as half an hour, it is quite tiresome. It is certainly not as lazy as some leisure acivities, and is so much fun, it's amazing! Imagine being on a Roller Coaster, that you control yourself, with the added bonus of a refreshing splash, or even dip. And if you are worried about safety, well if you know how to navigate a boat on whatever waterway you are on, and are ...  Read the complete review

If you enjoy whizzing around then you'll love jet ski's. I think jet ski's are really fun you zoom round with spray splashing up in your face which feels fab. It is amazing when you go over waves and try and stay on. Jet Skiing is not very good for small children as many places don't have small jet bikes also it would be difficult for a small child to handle. If you are going on holiday near a place that does jet skiing I advise you to have a go at it you'll enjoy it. The bad thing is that it costs abit to hire one out, I can't remember how much though. The best bit is that its so easy to do you don't get frustrated because you can't do it ...  Read the complete review
