Kevin Darley is the best flat jockey in the country. This is a fact, he won the championship last year, and it was not underserved. He has long been the best rider in the north of England, riding winners at ANY course and in ANY race. He wanted to be champion. I think that a Kevin Darley is worth 20 Frankie Dettori's. They are 10 a penny, do you see Frankie riding seven days a week?? Does he ride in a £2000 seller at Catterick?? No he doesn't, this is because he doesn't have the drive and ambition of Kevin Darley. Racing needs more Frankie Dettori's!!!!!! Frankie is almost certainly the most greatest character of all to come out of racing. As well as being such a skillful and talented jockey he is just such an embassador for the sport and is always so lively and full of high spirits, and always willing to undertake an interview for tv whether he has just won or lost a race. After his terrible plane accident that he had, there was talk from Frankie that he didn't know if he would continue racing any more.
