World class or overated? (John Terry)

Advantages: Very good defender

Disadvantages: Bad in pressure situations

I have never written a footballer review before, so bear with me. Personally I feel John Terry is a quality defender although without a doubt overated. He unfotunately when he plays football comes across as arrogant, which is fine if you are the best, however in recent years his football has dropped a couple of levels and his lack of pace is being taken advantage of. Also his goalscoring ability has dropped with him regularly being able to hit the back of the net a few seasons ago, but now its a rare occurence.

I feel the pinnacle of his career so far comes down to the champions league final, where all he had to do was score a penalty, and this would have won his team and the many fans a first champions league trophy, which for those of you who don't know, it is the biggest club competition in the world. Just one penalty and he becomes a legend and saves his manager getting the sack. Some people say world class, but for me a world class player would not have missed a pressure penalty like this.
