Advantages: excellent player

To think this marvellous player had heart surgery at the age of 21 and was told there was a chance he could not play again. Kanu defied the odds and played again. He joined Arsenal and at Highbury he has produced some sublime football. A great footballer with size 14 feet the ball seems to glue to his feet. Tall and lanky he can move for a tall guy, watch him and be blown away. That’s how good he is. He often has to settle for a place on the bench but you don’t hear him complain he’s a true professional. A majestic player. A great player. I was sad to read the other day that he lives in his million pound home by himself, he has all the wealth but because he has no family in Britain he often spends nights by himself. Sad, really I don’t see why his family or not allowed to come over with him. He seemed so sad about it. He spends most close season campaigning for his organisation, the Heart Foundation for which Kanu is the founder, he wants to give something back to Nigeria and bring awareness to the problem of Heart disease. Unlike, some Kanu is grateful for what he has. He lived in poverty and now has a life of stardom for which he’s truly grateful. I rate Kanu very highly, he’s a excellent footballer who can do magic with the ball.
