Advantages: Makes you feel good, Lets it all out

Disadvantages: only if you sing out of tune

I have just read an article in a magazine that singing is very good for you. It seems that by expressing your emotions through song you are releasing hidden tensions and stress. When I sing a song that I really like I get right into it, whether its in the bath in my car or down my local boozer, and in my mind I sound really good (although friends have told me otherwise). Sometimes when I’m at home on my own and I hear a favourite tune I turn it up full blast and sing my little head off. I must admit I feel really good. I think that before we start work we should have a good old sing song and boogie, the workers would all put their favourite songs on a list and would take it in turns to sing them. Maybe the world would be a better place if we all sang a few songs by ABBA together. Before I go I will leave you with the words to a song by Wyclef Jean .I know it won’t be to every ones taste but have a go any way.

Perfect gentleman

Just ‘cos she dances go-go
It don’t make her a ho, no
Maxine put your red shoes on
We going to the disco
We gonna elope to Mexico
Called up my mama, said I’m in love with a stripper, yo

Ten grand let me see you shake it
Like you got no bones in your body and
You was made to be a celebrity
Twenty grand, know it’s a sin
But before me you show me a little more skin
It would fill my fantasy
Thirty grand, to the highest bidder but Chris Rock said
There’s no sex in the champagne room
Forty grand, looked into her eyes
I saw tears falling down
Type of tears that money couldn’t buy

REPEAT CHORUS TWICE
Excuse me, what is your name

Uh, my name is Hope, yo
I was blessed with the body of the Goddesses
Have you any idea how hard it is
I could flex in twenty-five positions
But I only work here to pay my tuition
Yo, tantalizing teaser
Tabletop pleaser
Give me what I n
eed a
Master card or Visa
Lap dance fantasy
Picture us on and on white canopy
Wyclef extended his hand to me
Like Billy D.said he’s feelin’ me
Take me away from here, so far
Where they ride horses, no cars
No more stripping in bars
Me and you ‘Clef, against the odds

REPEAT CHORUS TWICE

Shocked caller, wasn’t you a preacher
You called her a hooker
He without sin cast the first stone
I met her on the subway; she gave me her VIP card
And told me if I ever have problems
Don’t hesitate to come by,yeah.yeah.yeah

REPEAT CHORUS TWICE

Feeling better?

Thankyou, I'm not going mad, although I only sing in public when I'm very drunk I love to sing at home on my own, and I do feel great for it, I'm not good but I'm not terrible either, this opinion confirms how I feel, thanks

singing does wonders for you, even if your vocally challenged (like all the top 40 residents these days...). 'your gettin in the way of what i'm feeling, my feelings yours, your getting in the way...'. ok i'll stop now. VU!

Never tried karaoke, but I do sing and agree that it's very good for you :)
