I started off by applying for my provisional aged 17 and booking 5 lessons for £50. After the 5 lessons, I couldn't afford any more, so I waited, and waited, until I could afford some more, I was about 20 when I could! Then for my 21st I asked for driving lessons or money off everyone, I got 10 lessons and enough money to pay for my test. I did ...  Read the complete review

Learning to drive. Learning to drive was one of the most expensive and tedious thing I have ever done (and I failed twice) but rewarding and builds your confidence. I think the easiest way to describe it would be in bullet points..... 1. Because I have particular bad hand eye feet coordination I decided to learn ...  Read the complete review

I am a learner driver. There I've said it, I feel much better now. Some lessons I enjoy driving, other's I truely hate it. I never really wanted to learn to drive, when I turned 17 I did a few lessons because I thought it would be "cool" to be able to go cruising etc with my friends. I didn't do very well due to ...  Read the complete review

As big a fan as I am of our environment and looking after our planet, I really do think that driving is essential these days. I mean I remember when I was bit younger having to rely on lifts from others, and on public transport - and it really is a complete pain, often totally unreliable (Unless you want to live your life in Central London where ...  Read the complete review

Learning to drive can be an expensive hobby.. I started taking my driving lessons when I was 18, I took them with an instructor which cost me £20 at the time, I felt after 8 lessons I was ready to do with theory test. I had revised a lot and thought why not go for it, you get two years to pass your test after that. I failed my first ...  Read the complete review

Small message to all those miserable gits who like to tail up to my ass whilst i'm learning to drive and give me abuse. One day I will pass my test so does that mean I immediately earn the right to act like a knob, beep my horn, drive erratically, etc etc.May your back wheels turn into bicycle pedals and free wheel up your arses to anyone who behaves like a twat on the roads.Im proud to want to further my driving to the safest standard.Cockiness leads to them decapitated people on the car crash websites. My partner picks them up and recovers their vehicles.

This is a subject that you always hear so many different opinions on. My opinion is one that I don't think will ever change. Living in the North of Scotland we don't get many small accidents but unfortunately we do get our fair share of fatal accidents. It's always something that makes my heart go out to the families and makes me think ...  Read the complete review

Learning to drive **What do I think of learners?** That question is like saying what do you think of teenagers when in reality we have all been there and done it but love to criticise that we weren't that bad! I know this may sound harsh but I don't think I could ever be a driving instructor as I just do not have ...  Read the complete review

In the summer of 2008, I turned the required age for learning to drive. As I come from a single parent home, where my mum doesn't drive, I've had to rely on buses nearly all my life. This is a bit of an annoyance when you want to be places at certain times and struggle because of the bus. I have to say I was a bit cocky to start with, ...  Read the complete review

IN THE BEGINNING When I turned 17, I must admit that I had little interest in driving (and little money, as my parents were not in the position to shell out for lessons like my peers) and was quite content with being the knowledgeable one about London's public transport. However, after not getting into the Uni of my choice after my Art ...  Read the complete review
