Frank LeboeufNewest Review: ... i absolutely hate this guy. When he came to Chelsea, he was a big, strong, tough centre back who was being tipped for big things. He is not a bad defender atall but he is a total baby. The slightest physical nudge on him and he goes down like he has been shot. It's a contact sport Frank, if you want to play non contact then go to the NBA and see how you get on there. Football is a ... more |

Someone get a cot and a bottle because this baby needs protecting 24-7 in case he breaks a nail. I am a Chelsea fan and i absolutely hate this guy. Football is a physical game and the sooner Frank realises this, the better for Chelsea as a club. ... Read the complete review

Frank Leboeuf has, in the space of the past 4 seasons or so gone from a complete non-entity playing for the mighty(!) Strasbourg, to the fringes of the all-conquering French team. Plucked from the obscurity of the French league by Chelsea, this ball-playing defender likes to think of himself as one of the best defenders in the world. Sadly, he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is (Chelsea need Marcel Desailly alongside him to cover for his lack of talent). What makes it worse is that Lebeouf is constantly moaning about English football, despite his move to the Premiership being his big break. He really should stop whinging and realise just how fortunate ... Read the complete review

When Chelsea signed Frank a few years back, very few people (including myself) knew much about him, and considering they paid only a few million (around £2M I think) it has proved a very good bit of business by the now departed manager… Having made an immediate impact and proved a vital cog in Chelsea’ success over the past few seasons, LeBoeuf has had a meteoric rise to fame that has seen him win a number of big honours both domestically and International, including the F.A. Cup, the Cup Winners Cup, the European Championships and the biggest honour of them all, the World cup itself! That alone should spell out how good a player he is, as no average ... Frank Leboeuf is probably one of the best central defenders in the Premiership but he a bad attitude. The way that he went against Vialli when he was manager is just unprofessional. Leboeuf is lucky still to be at the club. Frank is a solid defender who has avast amount of experience. He has played for top French teams before his move to Chelsea and he has also got lots of experience with his country. He is a world cup winner which is quite an achievement. Leboeuf can be relied upon to organise the defence and he is very good in the air. Another strength he has is his passing and shooting. He is capable of playing long through balls out of defence which pierce ... Read the complete review

Frank leboeuf is not a bad player he is good in defence and can clear the ball into safety a long way out, the only thing is he gets a bit vicious like in the incident between him and kewell of leeds. he can kick the ball hard and low and is good at penalty taking. Hasselbaink is also a good player on the ball just like zola used to be!! hasselbaink is a good striker and can score goals from basically anywhere. A naturally french born sweeper and he lives up to being a sweeper and a good enough player to play for his country. One of best defenders to ever play for Chelsea. A skilful defender. his best posistion is playing sweeper. ... Read the complete review
