Robert Lee has been with Newcastle for longer then I can remember now and he has been one of their most consistent players in that time. He can play anywhere is midfield and gives 100% every time his puts on the Newcastle jersey. It is strange that he was nearly on the brink of leaving the club a few years ago when he fell out with the manager. Luckily things have changed and he is very much a part of the team. Robert Lee has been an absolute fantastic player for Newcastle United. He has never played a game for the Black and Whites and not given 100%. When he signed for Newcastle back in 1992 for 700,000, we faced stiff competition from Middlesborough, who at the time were in the Premier League, and we were at the top of the First Division. But Kevin Keegan pulled of the transfer by convincing Rob that Newcastle was closer to London than Middlesborough was to London.
