Newest Review: ... and a young female modelling the new kit, which seems somehow much more clean and modern than the old variant. There?s also a decent desktop wallpaper featured on the site that has a racy young chick modelling the kit at a recent Leeds game and it?s enough to warm the cockles of any old codger?s heart. The men behind the club these days may be seemingly as naïve as their ... more

Premium Review Leeds F.C. Kit / Uniform: Slippery smooth (475 words)

There was yet another interesting twist in the macabre recent history of Leeds United just the other week ? the very same weekend that they chose to air their brand new Diadora sponsored footie kit saw the moment that their 14 year top flight career came to an unpleasant but long anticipated ending as they crashed 4-1 at Bolton after being a goal up at half time. It smacks of the future clashing dismally with the past as one chapter ended while another one began to open. The home page of the Leeds United website (www.leedsunited.com) features a fairly pleasant splash screen with bright young thing James ...  Read the complete review

The designers at Nike deserve real credit for this little creative number. No ordianary memeber of the untrained public could have taken a white shirt, stuck on a leeds badge, the nike logo, and strongbow, and then pass it off as a £40 football shirt. Nike are a disgusting company who make disgusting profits by exploiting the impovrished workforces of some of the world's most deprived areas, which is probably what attracted them to leeds. But then it is more prefferabel than the prison issue clothing that Lee Bowyer will be forced to wear. Of course there is nothign wrong with the all white design they stole from Real Madrid, if desgined properly that is. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Leeds F.C. Kit / Uniform: new kit- great, shame about the price (97 words)

I think the new kit is great and I wear mine with pride, the only let down to the kit wasn't the sponsor or the colour or anything else to do with its appearance but it was the fact that the shirt cost me £45 and I think this is appalling. The only reason I bought it was for its looks and the fact that I am a keen supporter of the club and will be for years to come. The kit will be worn by me and many other fans no matter what the price. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nike comes up trumps! (218 words)

When I first heard that the new shirt would be made by Nike, I had an idea that the shirt would be both practical for the players and stylish at the same time. Having bought my Shirt upon its release, I certainly could not argue with either of those initial thoughts. Firstly, the shirt is in keeping with the traditional all while Leeds United home colours, which I like to see, and think that’s the way it should stay. Secondly, the shirt is far more stylish and comfortable than last seasons poor effort, with a much better fabric used meaning it fits better and feels a lot nicer to wear. While our Sponsors logo (Strongbow) is not as colourful as last season ...  Read the complete review

Leeds F.C. Kit / Uniform: Some Strip (96 words)

When I think of the Leeds strip I always think of plain old boring white kit. This new strip has been given a new lease of life. It is really a nice kit to look at. With all the great football being played in it I think it may be a good kit to keep for Leeds United. If I was a Leeds supporter (which I'm not) I would definately buy this kit. It may be a little bit pricey but if you are a Leeds fan then buy it and wear it with pride. ...  Read the complete review
