Around 18 Minutes in Leicester City?s French Midfielder Lillian Nalis saw his cracking shot from the edge of the area come of the Crossbar and into play. The game was turning out to an end-to-end game until a brawl saw Dion Dublin Sent off on his Leicester City Debut. The referee also booked ex. Fulham Defender Rufus Brevett for his part to play in the alleged head-butting. This sent the Leicester fans into a crazy mood after the Referee only booked Rufus Brevett. Ah, at last the football season has started. Went to watch Leicester City V West Ham United today and thought, hey, I could do a match report on the game. So here it is? ?..Leicester City and West Ham United kicked off their Coca-Cola Championship today at the Walkers stadium, home of Leicester City FC. The game ended as a 0-0 draw, marred by 2 red cards, 1 for each team. Leicester City started the game brightly using the wings to attack, but the crosses where either headed clear or claimed by the West Ham United keeper. West Ham tried the same but it they where again cleared or Caught. Around 18 Minutes in Leicester City?s French Midfielder Lillian Nalis saw ... Read the complete review

Leicester City surprised many people last season by taking the second automatic promotion spot behind runaway leaders Portsmouth in the first division. They earned their place in the top flight due to a mixture of good management, a mean defence and scoring the important goals. They may have surprised a few by beating off more fancied teams like Wolves or Sheffield United to get there, but once in the Premiership again they will fight fiercely to make sure they do not go down. However realistically out of the three promoted teams, on paper at least Leicester seem to be the weakest side there, so clear favourites to fill one of the three relegation places. It will be ... Yesterday with the charimans announcement that the club had no money for new signings, for me sums up the entire culture at Leicester City FC. Surely the fact that Leicester have just sold there record signing for £2.5 million, half what they paid for him, and also the fact that they are bottom of the league by 5 point margin, should mean new signings are vital. The chairman recently stated that at the beginning of the season they budgeted for finishing 12, and that every place below that would cost them £400k in lost TV revenue, which in the current position equates to £3.2 million. Therefore his prime motive was for selling Akinbyi was to generate revenue. How can ... Read the complete review

I have been a Leicester City fan ever since i was in nappies. I live down in Kent but still follow them, as it is my home town and it means a lot to me. I was born in Leicester Royal Infirmary yards from the Filbert Street ground, that i have visited many times. I can still remember my first game back on New Years Eve 1993 vs Sheffield Wednesday and we went down one nil, it was my first ever football match, my grandad took me, i was so excited. I infact am a Leicester City share holder, i own 196 which is about 0.0000000001% of the club but i still do own a part of the club, and that is true support i feel. But with it i feel the ups and ... Read the complete review

After a couple of opening reversals, the arrival of Dave Bassett has manager at struggling Leicester City has had the customary and expected impact on his new charges. Anyone unlucky enough to witness the drab spectacle of Leicester’s performance at Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park the other evening could have been excused for thinking they had come along to a battle to win the title of Most Boring Football Team In The World because, after the thrilling and brusing confrontation between Leeds and Manchester United at the weekend, this was a brutal descent at pace back down to earth. It was probably excusable for Bassett’s boys who are starting to ... Read the complete review
