My opinion on this subject is certainly not one of somebody in the know after all are any of us in the know when it comes to Spirits,Souls,Reincarnation.
I personally don't think that there is any such thing as life after death Heaven or Hell etc but that does not mean that I don't think others should believe it.
I have seen in the past many people die and especially loved ones and I would like to believe that they went thinking that they were going on to a better place.
After life is something that can never be proven either one way or the other it is just something you believe in or don't.
To believe in something like Heaven is a really good thing and I would love to actually believe that myself who would'nt after all nobody wants to except that once the body dies so do we as any form of life spiritual or physical.
I feel that obviously this subject ties into religion and religion is not a bad thing as most are based on being good to yourself and others and very peace orientated and if people want to believe they are going up there with God,Allah who ever then I envy them after all as far as I believe there is nothing else although I hope I am proven wrong when that time comes.

- 26/09/01 I think hell was just made up by the early church. In 400ad or so the church rewrote the bible so it would suit them to control people. I think hell was part of that put in to scare people - but i wasnt there so i may be wrong.
