Well after the drama of the last day of the season, who do we meet on the first day of the season but the 'pool. We were comprehensively beaten at Anfield where Titti Camra destroyed us nearly single-handed but the home game was another matter.

All credit to Liverpool who put up a great fight and could have scored through Owen on a number of occasions. Having said this we had another couple of chances that could have gone in with Windass attempting a half way line lob over Westevelt and ranking going close in the final 10 minutes.

What will the first game bring? I think we'll be a bit cagey and be lucky to get a point against a side that should challenge for the title this season.

Anyway - good look lads and I hope you do well this season, nearly everyone has a soft spot for
Liverpool and I will be cheering then on but not against my beloved Bradford City!!
