Advantages: great new signings, lots of money

Disadvantages: too many new players?(may take a while to gel)

Liverpool look like they could be hot on Manchester United's tail this season in the Premiership. Since Gerard Houllier become manager a couple of seasons ago, they have looked really good. Mind you, they should be with all the money he has spent on the side with the likes of Diomede, Hamann, (soon to arrive) Ziege, Babbel and Westerweld to name but a few players joining the first team line-up. I reckon Liverpool have a great chance of coming in the top 3 or higher in the league this season, but we'll just have to wait and see.
