Long Beach, as the name says does in deed have a long Beach! However when the CART boys race into town relaxing on that sand will be the furthest thing from your mind. Located about 40 minutes South of Los Angeles the City of Long Beach has hosted many motor races over the last 26 years, notably now the CART series. With a back drop of the Pacific ocean and the world famous Queen Mary liner standing proud across the harbour, this race is billed as the equivalent to F1 s Monaco, and judging by the stars from Hollywood who put in appearances over the weekend it might just live up to that billing.
