Luton Town F.C.Newest Review: ... shown true class at Luton. Adam Locke is a great powerful midfielder that will trouble a lot of players. A tussle with him may result in a black eye though! Banging in the goals is one player who I regard very highly. Carl Griffiths. Born in my Hometown, Carl is a brilliant striker who nearly signed for my Beloved Wrexham after coming on loan until we could not stump up the cash. Instead he ... more |

My second football ground review of the day. Those that are interested should read my Peterborough review too (hint hint). As already stated, Im giving an away fans viewpoint of the clubs. Not your typical home fan "MY CLUB IS GREAT" view. Background. ----------- Luton Town, once of High flying fame have stumbled on hard times lately. In fact, they have plummeted through the Divisions and currently reside in Division 3. They are doing well but years of complacency and bad buying decisions have come back to haunt the club. Times are looking brighter with a good playing record this season. Nicknamed "the Hatters", I think that ... Read the complete review

I am a keen supporter of Luton Town, and I believe there is a future for them now. More people need to visit the atmospheric stadium of Kenilworth road and they need to become Luton supporters. In 1988, Luton won the League Cup. They beat the mighty Arsenal. What an achievement ! Luton have been on the downward spiral since then, dropping through the divisions, currently nestled at the bottom of division 2, but a large supporting crowd is what they need. Back in the days when standing up to watch a match was not uncommon, Luton had a large backing, and won lots of matches. What they need to do is recreate this and win more matches. Everybody likes to see a bad team ... Read the complete review

I can’t believe it! I’ve been a Luton supporter for many years now and things have not got this desperate since we where relegated from division 1. We started this season with a new manager (Ricky Hill) and almost a new team, but it doesn’t seem to have done any good. First we start a losing streak and then we change manager again to Lil Fuccillo another ex Luton player and under his lead could things be on the up? We signed a few new players like Mark Stein who is almost collecting his pension, Peter Thomson who is a fair player; our Finish international Petri Helin and we are now on the verge of introducing a new player. Our new ... Read the complete review

What can I say about Luton Town? Is there really anything good about them worth knowing about? Well, if you’re a hatters fan then you’ll probably found a thousand things to say that praise the club, but from an outsiders perspective I can honestly say that I think Luton Town, as a football team set-up, are a shambles. At present they’re lying at an abysmal 2nd from bottom in division 2 and are unlikely, in my view, to stay up this season. Luton town have never really excelled in any way or form in the last few seasons and I feel that they have become to complacent in that they haven’t improved as much as the other teams around them. ...
