Are Manchester city ruining football? In my answer yes! With their super rich Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment leading their teams finances the sky is the limit for them. The signing of Robinho for £32.5 million was a big factor in the future down fall of English football. Why would a footballer plying his trade with one of the biggest clubs in the world in Real Madrid leave them for an average premiership team? Simple answer for money! In his interview he didnt even know which team he had joined when he said he was very happy to be joining Chelsea before being corrected that he was at Man City. They have the reputation of being a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with reliable form being an untrodden path for city, therefore their fans are regarded as some of the most loyal in the game, sticking with them through thick and thin, for instance the consecutive relagations down to what was then Divisiion two and then their rise to the Premiership again! Such an example is the epitome of Manchester city, and therefore you have to know what you are getting with them, as if you are expecting to win the Champions league you ... Read the complete review

If you asked the Manchester City supporters before the start of the season where they thought they would be in the league around the Christmas period, very few would have said 15th, just two points above the relegation zone. The team made an average start to the season, but notched up some impressive victories, 3-0 against West Ham United, 0-3 away at Sunderland, 6-0 against Portsmouth and a 3-0 victory over Arsenal. Recently, things haven't been going City's way at all. Of their last eight games they have won two, drawn one and lost five; simply not good enough. The next few games are going to be really important for City, if they don't perform over the next month or so ... Read the complete review

I really love Man city I do. I have been brought up with blue in my blood. Im not as hardcore as some. It is not taboo to say "united" in our house! Ive seen it all : Relegated to 1st division Relegated to 2nd division Promoted to 1st division I think we were then relegated again! Two years later we were back in the premiership! Woo!! Now hoever we have had all this mess with Sven. Im not sure why we got rid of ol' blue eyes as I was quite a fan. I do however have a great deal of respect from Mark Hughes for what he has done football in general. He did great things at Blackburn last season. The current team is good. I loved the ...
