When Macmanaman left Liverpool to join Real Madrid few would have dreamt the impact he’s had over there. I have watched him play a few times and he seems such a good player. I am so surprised that he never gets chosen for England. I am sure Sven Goran will realise what a good player he is and make him a regular. Steve Mcmanaman is one of England's most creative players and his current situation with Real Madrid is such a waste of talent. After a good first season with the current European Champions, he has been left out this season which is a real shame. Steve joined Real Madrid from Liverpool on a free transfer a few seasons ago. It looked like a dream move at the time but now things have gone horribly wrong. Many English teams have shown an interets but Mcmanaman has said on many occasions that he doesn't want to come back to England. There might come a time when he has too. After his superb performances for Real Madrid last season, in helping them to win the Champions League, I think it is fair to say that Kevin Keegan wasted him at Euro 200. I mean what was the point of playing him on left midfield when he is clearly one of our best players, and should be playing down the middle- surely common sense should have told him that. McManaman has tremendous pace, and can pass the ball around very effectively, as was proved last season.
