When Macmanaman left Liverpool to join Real Madrid few would have dreamt the impact he’s had over there. I have watched him play a few times and he seems such a good player. I am so surprised that he never gets chosen for England. I am sure Sven Goran will realise what a good player he is and make him a regular. Steve Mcmanaman is one of England's most creative players and his current situation with Real Madrid is such a waste of talent. After his superb performances for Real Madrid last season, in helping them to win the Champions League, I think it is fair to say that Kevin Keegan wasted him at Euro 200. I mean what was the point of playing him on left midfield when he is clearly one of our best players, and should be playing down the middle- surely common sense should have told him that. McManaman has tremendous pace, and can pass the ball around very effectively, as was proved last season.
