I have been a middlesbrough fan for quite a few years and ive seen lots of players come and go but id never thought id see the day Middlesbrough were relegated. After having a bad 08/09 season they found themselves going to the championship division. A bad to say the least and obviously with this happening lots of players began to leave. Stewart Downing, Alfonso Alves, Tuncay, Huth all departed along with others. No one can say that supporting Middlesbrough Football Club is an easy ride. Having being a supporter for all my 24 years and a season ticket holder the past few seasons, I have seen us go through an awful lot. Who could forget the gates being locked on Ayresome Park, the glorious return to division one, the Cellnet Riverside Satdium, Ravaneli's hat-trick, three cup finals in a year and relegation! These are just a few of the memories I have of Boro. Middlesborough are another team who have got quite a few decent players, but they have got off to a bad start this season and new manager, Steve McClaren will need to try and get the team some points in order for them to get themselves up the table. Middlesborough have made a few good signings in the summer, including Gareth Southgate who signed from Aston Villa for 6.6 million pounds. He is a great defender and one who can help Middlesborough concede less goals than what they have been recently over the past few seasons, but he needs a bit more time to settle in with his new team mates and learn how most of them play. Other good players that ...  Read the complete review

Hi there people! Just voicing my opinion on Middlesbrough FC's website - mfc.co.uk. I feel that the website of a football club reflects their league position / performance / ambition. Ok, stay with me here I know it sounds far out. Just take a look at Liverpool’s (for example) website with its intro video, enhanced graphics, detailed club history, player profiles, excellent navigation and news updates etc . . . then take a look at boro's. Fair enough the website is well arranged and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Plus the information it contains is updated regularly. However, it lacks a touch of finese and appears ...  Read the complete review
