Disadvantages: a very red face
For a reasonably young person I believe i have had my fair share of embarrasing moments already, but to be fair i do set myself up for them quite often. So ive decided, for everyone who feels like the joke is always on them, i will compile my top three most embarrasing moments.
3) Manchester 2002 Commonwealth games Opening Ceremony-
In 2002 my high school was given a chance for some its pupils to have the chance to take part in the opening ceremony of the games. Being an overweight geeky child, it wasn't that often that i had a chance to shine. i took the oppourtunity to take part. Then i found out their would be months of grueling work to do, hours and hours of choreography sessions to take part in. but i went for it thinking I was going to be the best at it. when it came to actually performing to 40,000 people in the stadium and millions world wide, i suprised myself and just went for it! Just to get home where my parents had recorded the whole thing on video. I there saw the fact i really couldn't dance, the clothes the dressed me in made me look like a knome and the worst part about it was it was seen by so many people, it was an amazing experience overall but, i have extremely embarrasing eveidence of it.
2)My Dad!-
Its a well documented fact that Dads are the most embarrasing members of the family, Mine is no exception. When i was little my dad used to come up with little nicknames to call me, but the thing is he still uses them. and being a 19 year old that is still known as soldier and smelly by his Dad is so embarrasing. And he always uses them in the most embarrasing places like infront of my mates, in shops and at parties! I tell him to stop and he does it even more!
1)The Bus journey i will never forget-
I used to hate coming home from college on the bus, because by the time it got to the stop i get on it the bus was usually full, with all the retired people from the retirement home round the corner from my college and with all the high school kids from the school down the road. One day i got on the bus and as usual all the seats were taken so i had to stand in the middle of the bus, and to make matters worse no-one else was stood up so everybody was starring at me! suddenly i felt someone tugging on my jeans, i turned round to see a little girl sat on her grand mothers knee, who was to engrossed in conversation with he friend to notice what her grandaughter was doing. I decided to ignore it, hoping that the old lady would eventually realise what mischief the little girl was upto. Anyway she didn't and the little girl persisted, and kept pulling harder and harder. Suddenly i felt my belt buckle ping open and before i had time to drop my college bag and art folder to grab my jeans, they were already round my ankles. everyone on the bus burst into fits of laughter, i slowly bent down pulled them back up and ran off the bus at the next stop.
