There have been a few things that have led to acute embarrassment in my time and here are a couple of them.

The first was at work when I sent an e-mail to a colleague about our plans for the approaching weekend and I let it be known that not only did I plan to get blinding drunk but also that I planned to do the dirty dead with any bloke I could find as I had gone without for a number of weeks after finishing with my boyfriend. However some how I amanged to not only include my friend but also copy in the whole department by adding a group e-mail distribution list, thankfully it did not go much further than the department unlike other poor people whose e-mail has been sent around the world but it was really embarrassing especially as on the following Monday there were a number of e-mails waiting for me asking how my weekend had gone.

The second embarrassing thing that springs to mind was the time that I turned up for a friends wedding dressed in the identical outfit worn by the grooms mother, to make matters worse she was a good 30 years older than me and I just felt really frumpy and not very trendy for the whole night.

I'm sure there are more but I cannot think of any at the moment
