The f word is probably the worst word in the English language when it comes to dating. I can't believe i am writing this but hey what the heck! The day - Saturday 3rd August 2002 I went to the oldest friend I have got. Oldest in terms of i have known her for the longest period of time. If there is one word i would use to describe her it is beautiful. She didn't know what I was going to ask her but she knew that I was anxious to talk with her. I gave her a call on her mobile and then we met up outside of her house. The usual look was given by both of us and i was dreading what i wanted to tell her. Reason being i have lost other girls after i have told them i love them. However i knew this time would be ok because we have known each other since the first year of primary school (we are now in college heading off to uni) Anyways back to the subject, she was wearing a really foxy dress and i was basically walking up to her with my tongue out! "Ring a ding ding" I thought. She looks very fine today. So as we talked for hours (as we usually do) i thought "listen man we have to get this sorted out today". I took her hands, looked into her dark brown eyes and said the dreaded words "I love you"! The response was unbelieveable. "No please don't say that to me we have been friends for so long that i do not want to jeopordise it". This was absolutely amazing as we share some deep secrets (now these aren't going to be told because she would kill me if she found out i have written them down). Plus we get on like a house on fire. Laughing, crying, moaning are only a few of the emotions we have both shared. However it still did not make me feel better knowing that we would be FRIENDS forever as i want more than that. But me being me am not going to worry as i have many others waiting in the wings. But this is the most embarrassing m
oment i have been in.

- 07/08/02 the moral of the story is that it may hurt for a while if you part company.....but not as much as it will if you stay close without ever touching just hoping one day you can sail her boat....hmmm...i'm sure you get my meaning...lol. |
