After staying at home with my daughter for three years I decided that it was time to go back to work and I somehow manged to be accepted for the most fantastic position.

This was the job I had always wanted and had spent years aiming for it so when I walked straight into after having three years off I was well chuffed.

So you can imagine the first thing I had to do was get a new "first day outfit". So off I went to scour Bluewater to find the perfect attire for my first day. After a long day hunting and many moans from hubby I found the most georgeous linin skirt with matching top. PERFECT. I left the shop very proud of myself and looking forward to starting work. When I got home I done the usual act of trying it on with every pair of shoes I own and paraded up and down my bedroom. At this point I must add that this was night time so the only light was from my bedside lamp.

OK.....day one at my new job.

Off I went, took my daughter to nursery and set off full of confidence ready to face the big wide world again.
Had a great day and came home at five o'clock to share my day with hubby.
As I began to tell him I could not understand why he was in fits of laughter. What's so funny? I could not work it out.

As I grew increasingly angry at him I eventually blurted out at him to shut up laughing. He replied " sorry I can't help it, it's just that the skirt you have had on all day is completly see-through".

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....... .....THUD......

I came whooshing back down to earth.
I Ran upstairs and looked in the mirror. It was on a sunny day and you could not only see my white thong but also the conents of the white thong.

I was ssoooooooo embarrased and could not believe that I had showed all my new work frineds all my assests. The next day I went in wearing black trousers and a top up to my neck and have been very qui
