Motegi is a modern track comprising an oval and a race track within it. Its in the region of 3-5 years old. It is owned by Honda. The oval is 1.5 miles in distance and is used by the CART series who come here in May. It is also used by Nascar who come here at the end of the year to give a demonstration run/non-point scoring race to keep their Japanese fans happy.
