This seasonin Formula One promises to be a great one, so far at least! One of the intrigueing battles is between the three leading teams. It's a long time since we had anything other than a two horse race, but already after just 6 races completed there have been 3 different teams winning with no less than 5 drivers who could easily have won if not for mechanical problems. Although Button was by far tipped to be the brightest star of the 2000 season, he was unable to show his true potential. This year things are a lot different, new blood has been injected into F1 by the name of Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen! Montoya of indy car fame is poised to be a potential threat to Schumacher this season, although looking at his first two races it doesnt seem likey, but is he expected to against a triple world champion driving the worlds number one car at the moment. A new season is on us again, and to be realistic you cant look past Ferrari and Mclaren for the 2001 drivers title. FERRARI…Schumacher and Barrichello are the perfect team as the Italian does what he’s told as far as race order goes. Schuey is by far the best driver at the moment in F1 and I don’t see the flying Fin getting any nearer him in talent. Michael has been on the end of too many silly rule infringements just to tighten up the season in the last five years and I suspect on a level playing field he would win every race against the Maclaren guys.
