Advantages: I dunno. How about a song?

Disadvantages: I dunno! Now how about that song?

Hello! Now, I'm all up for a competition! I look forward to not winning it! As is the usual tradition with competitions...

1) favourite last dance smoochie

Well, I wasn't too aware you could dance and smooch at the same time. But apparently so...
Okay, something dancy and smoochy, something with raw raunchiness and auror of sexual passion?
Telletubbies say Eh Oh!
Or maybe not, maybe Kylie Minogue's Slow! Now, thats an extrememly sexy gal! And that pulsating beat alongside her raunchy breathing is er...very...nice.

2) best cover version

I hate covers...but, I really did like one. And that was I just dont know what to with myself covered by the White Stripes was extrememely good, as it took a rockier take on it, and still worked! Funny how things work? A classical song made into a rock song! Now I didn't dream that a Burt Bacharach song would work so well! Now me and my gran have songs to talk about that we both enjoy! I can bond with my gran over music! Now those stupid coversations about the weather can BURN IN HELL!!

3) worst cover version.

Mandy by Westlife!!! MANDY BY WESTLIFE!!! THE SUPPOSED NUMBER ONE!! THE SUPPOSED RECORD OF THE YEAR!!! This is all Barry Manilows fault for inventing the song in the first place!!! And Simon bloody Fullers fault for reincarnating it with the most popular pop band, yet most crap band ever made! Can I have some water please?

4) best male vocal

Bono from U2 most certainly has an amazing voice. But is he my favourite? Chris Martin from Coldplay. I adore his voice. And I also have repect for Justin Hawkins from the Darkness, I can't believe how high he can sing and still get away with it! Well...some people hate his voice, so I guess he doesn't completely get away with it...

5) Best Female Vocal.

Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. They may be recent talent, but my god, is her voice fantastic. I m
ean, ok, she does a lot of yelping, but I've never heard a voice like hers, and she can vary her voice a lot wth the louder songs, and then the more sentimental songs she can actually sing them without having the need to yell.

6) Best Duo + / Group .

I could go for the obvious. Ya know, ever heard of a little band called the Beatles? Although Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin are also worthy candidates. But overall, you've just gotta go for the Beatles haven't you?

7) Most memorable Song.

Either Imagine by John Lennon, or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. More recent though, we have had Yellow by Coldplay.

8) Your Song .

The Drugs dont work, by the Verve. I love both the lyrics and the tune, and the first time I heard it I was quite close to tears.
Now savour this moment, Because this is probably one of the only times I'm ever going to be serious. :)

9) Best Female Vocal Performance

Err...Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O Conner? Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs ( Karen O ) ? Both very serious emotional songs, sang with pure emotion.

10) Best Male Vocal Performance.

Sunday Bloody Sunday with U2s Bono, or probably, Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zepplin. Robert Plant! Thats his name! It looks like it didn't take time, but believe me, I've been sitting on this chair for the last 20 minutes trying to think of his name.

11) Most Poignant Song.

Someones gonna have to explain to me what poignant means first. Don't judge me, I'm not stupid. I'm just young.

12) All Time Favourite Album.

The Bends by Radiohead

13) Best Music Video .

Bittersweet Symphony for pure class, or Coldplay's the Scientist for originality, or for raw emotion Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, or The Cure, Friday I'm In Love, for fun. :)

14) Best Act Ever .

Well, I'm too young to say anyone too good. The Darkne
ss are a good act, as are Oasis, but my dad's is Lep Zepplin.

15) Best TV / Film musical piece .

Rex Harrison, My Fair Lady! Go Rex!

16) Best personal computer ( any ) music software.

Er...well for software its Kazaa, Apple is a good computer! ( Mmm...apples...)

Competition Man, this was a very clever competition man for thinking up this!
