Advantages: Too many to mention
Disadvantages: Is there any?
Dedicated to my friend Jill Murphy who will totally understand why I did this ( I hope), please forgive me readers, you see I just love chocolate. I was going to start by saying that this is an opinion on my new found love Bounty Calapuno chocolates, but it’s not an opinion but a confession. I STOLE these, yes that’s right STOLE. Well I am glad I have shocked you all. Just when you were beginning to think that I was nearly a respectable mother of two, I confess this. Well it all started when I spotted them lurking in the back of the fridge, they were calling for me you see, “eat me I taste nice”. I quickly shut the fridge door and looked around to see if anyone else had glanced at the gems. Great not a soul in sight. I sit down all in a fluster and begin to devise my cunning plan. Right first things first, the children have to go to bed and tonight they were going on time, I was on a mission. In record time the kids were bathed and in bed after the shortest story book that could be found was read to them. My husband headed off to his usual Monday Badminton session and I was then left all alone to carry out the dastardly deed. Hands trembling with excitement I open the fridge door, the light shines onto the perfect white and blue box containing my much awaited chocolates. I sit at the kitchen table in darkness apart from the hint of light coming from the fridge door, ( too eager to close it). I wrestle with the box as the flip top lid delays me by approximately a second. Great I am in, now the best bit. The chocolates are individually wrapped (nice touch) and can be placed whole onto the tongue. Oh wait a minute I will just grab another to taste again so I can describe it better. (Dooyoo members what I do to give you an insight!!) The wrapper rips open easily and the chocolate is a small dome shape of milk chocolate with coconut flakes scattered all around. I shall now take a bite (Are you s
till reading Jill Murphy or have you fainted with excitement yet?) Well I would say it’s more of a crunch noise as you bite through the wafer layer and then you are greeted with a smooth creamy coconut centre. I have now finished the chocolate and I am happy to confirm that it gets the thumbs up. Hum maybe just one more to help me finish off the opinion. Well I am nearing the end of my opinion, and the sight around me is a mess, the computer desk is littered with discarded wrappers. God did I really eat that many. I am now feeling slightly sick, I did recommend them but maybe only eat a few at a time and not seven like I have just scoffed. What will my husband say? All day I spend telling my children how they must share and what do I do stuff my face full of chocolates with no intentions of sharing. Oh the shame of it. ** Positive thinking/Ways to justify my chocolate addiction** Lets think positive now, eating chocolate has a good side it is scientifically proven to help cheer you up as it releases natural “HAPPY” chemicals in the body. You see us women can always justify ourselves in the end. One happy woman creates one happy home environment for the family. Now Anton will not be cross that I ate all the chocolates. !! I forgot to say if however you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having no chocolate in the house, well to get you through the day go to www.virtualchocolate.com, there you can slobber over many different varieties of chocolates and even send a virtualchocolate card to someone you love.

- 12/09/01 It should be compulsory for anyone writing about chocolate on DooYoo to send some to the readers, after all we need something to munch on while we are reading them. Good op though. |
