Advantages: You look beautiful

Disadvantages: can be expensive

I wear makeup everyday so I tend to fluctuate on what products I wear depending on how much time I have before I have to get the bus in the morning and whether I remeber because my brain isn't all together awake at 6 in the morning! If you've read a few of my other reviews you can probably tell i'm not one whos able to splash out because I'm not having the best of luck at the moment with money hence why I'm on dooyoo so I tend to try out new products if they look like they'll still maintain a similar quality standard.

1. My foundation- At the moment I use Maybelline's dream matte mouse, which you can buy from around £6.50 for an 18ml jar which usually lasts me about 6 months. The price fluctuates as I've once bought it for around £10 hence why any suggestions towards a similar product that isn't rimmel, would be very much appreciated. Although I do find this product doesn't have much staying power, I like the thickness of it, the fact it covers a tan coloured birth mark which I have on my chin, and the fact it makes my skin feel soft. I don't like liquids because they don't cover my blemishes because they're not thick enough so i go through them alot quicker, I don't like powder because it comes off on my clothes and again isn't thick enough so this product seems to have a monopoly when it comes to me! I've also tried the rimmel one which was absolutely foul, I found it to be sticky and like cement, it smelt aweful and was lumpy, I wasn't impressed. especially when after a while it seperated and became watery :S.

2. My 'going out' eyeliner- My mum got me my this eyeliner for christmas as an extra special treat because she'd found it in the sales in TKMaxx (god bless that woman!), its a Nina Ricci one so is not one I'll be able to afford to replace once its gone (due to being a poor college student who doesn't qualify for EMA despite the fact my mum has 5 other kids to provide for let alone my book lists.). Its double ended where one end in an intense black with little bits of glitter in and the other end is a beuge colour which I suppose is a highlighter? I'm not sure what its called because it was a gift hence why I don't know the price either, sorry.

3. My no7 dream lash mascara- its actually had mostly bad reviews but I have to say from my own experience I do disagree with the opinion that its not all that good, I've found it to be very effective. It does product clumps, because of the brush it seperates and coats each lash with the right amount of mascara which then means that the eyelashes look fuller and longer. I use it all the time when my eyes are looking tired to help illuminate them (if you know what I mean). You can buy it from boots for £11.30.

4. My fast stroke liquid eyeliner from collection 2000.- Its lasted me for ages and its very good at what it says on the tin, you get neat strokes very quickly and it lines you eyes effectively. Its an alot more intensive black colour than pencil and has lost of staying power although it isn't water proof (as I found out on results day last week). It comes in 3.5ml bottles with a long paint brush type thing used to apply the liner and you can buy it for around £2.98.

5. clinique high definition lashes mascara- I have a sample of this which i'm working through at the moment, it seems to do a just as effective job as the dream lashes one except it was free (which is always good!). You can get it at most cosmetic shops and in alot of clinique freebie goody bags on the offers like 'spend £50 and get this goody bag free!'. Its a good everyday mascar but isn't waterproof so probably not one for weddings, funerals and the like.

6. bourjois efet 3D lipgloss- I love it because its pink, its pretty long lasting and the brush means you can apply it more effectively. It comes in 19 colours and can be found at most respectable cosmetics stores such as boots. You can find it at superdrug for £6.84 and was again a christmas present which i won't be replacing very soon due to the credit crunch. It smells and tastes gorgeous on your lips and is quite thick. It doesn't dry your lips out and infact makes them feel softer and fuller.

7. Vitamin E facial oil from the body shop
8. wild cherry body scrub
9.moringa body butter
10. The slanted brush from the body shop.

Summary: The credit crunch will kill the beauty industry if we're not careful!

I don't wear makeup apart from when I -very rarely - go out somewhere special. I reckon I'm saving a fortune.
My kids make up for it though! They drool over everything you've mentioned here.
