SKODA OCTAVIA – BRUNO THIRY(14th) ARMIN SCHWARZ(12th) ROMAN KRESTA(21st) Like Hyundai, Skoda have never been up there but the car has been very reliable and will take any points that are up for grabs. For instance as cars fell apart in front of him Armin Schwarz has finished 4th and 3rd this year in Monaco and Kenya. Schwarz has actually won this rally but that was ... more

Forget the magazines - this is the definutive guide to this years WRC in Britain. With all the 17 stages reviewed this is the guide of the year! Enjoy!! Whats the biggest spectator event in the UK? The FA cup final – no. The British GP – no. Its actually the final round of this years World Rally Championship which storms into Wales to wow the public with their side ways antics, adrenalin pumped driving and incredible tension. And this year is no exception. This year the championship has gone down to the wire and 4 drivers can take the top spot at the end of it all – two of them are British while there is a Finn and a Spaniard in the running ...  Read the complete review

I went to watch a rally in Australia once called the Bathhurst. The spectator areas were placed well to avoid any chance of the calamities that regularly hit the RAC and international races. To bring the rally more in line with the other stages of the WRC, the British stage was cut to three days and the "Borders" day was taken out. The rally still visited the popular spectator stages of the first day in places like Silverstone and Donington. OK, the drivers weren't too keen on the short fast stages but rallying is essentially a spectator sport. Without the ...  Read the complete review

During the last few years it has been a privilege to have the Network Q Rally staged here in Wales. Any rally fan will agree that experiencing the world’s top drivers hammering through the forests at fantastic speeds and you being so close to the action will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end. A few stages last year brought traffic to a stand still for hours on end. This led to rally cars being late on stage and some cars being unable to start stages. It is rumoured that this year’s event is going to be better controlled, by increasing the entry price for stages from £8.00 per car to £10.00 per person. So the rally fans who ...  Read the complete review
