Resolutions I will keep for a change (New Year's Resolutions)

Advantages: A chance to make changes to your life

Disadvantages: Its not easy to stick to them at times

New Years resolutions, everyone makes them each year but do any of us actually stick to them after January 2nd?! I normally dont. This year is different however, there are many things I plan to do and achieve this year and for once I'm really determined to do them, maybe the fact I recently turned 30 has something to do with it?

My main two resolutions are:

1 - Lose weight
OK, ok we all say this and most of us never manage to stick to a diet for long. For me though it's important that I do. I'm very small at only 4,11 and carrying extra weight isnt a good thing for someone so small, especially since I have slightly high blood pressure. I owe it to myself and my partner to look after myself and watch what I eat, I've already started and I WILL do it this year.

2 - Pass my driving test.
You may notice I posted a review about learning to drive and detailed how I was finding it. The Bachs Flower Remedy didnt really work and last month I failed again for the 3rd time. :( The good thing is I am slowly growing in confidence and the only thing holding me back is reversing round corners, that pesky kerb keeps popping up and getting in the way!

I have a car and tomorrow I plan to buy insurance, get it taxed and practise with my boyfriend beside me until I'm sick of it. I WILL pass that damn test this year it if kills me, well maybe not but you get what I mean!

Bring on 2009 and everything it has to chuck at me, I'm ready for ya!
