As a young golf fanatic in the 1960’s, there were three golfers, “The Big Three”, who were head and shoulders above all the others; Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Jack Nicklaus. I aint that great of a golf fan, but I get tired of hearing Tiger Woods described as the greatest of all time. This is utter rubbish, there is no doubt that at this moment in time he is way ahead of everybody else. But for me this is because there are no other great players around. Jack Nicklaus has the best record in major championships, I for one doubt that Tiger will ever win as many, think about the standards of play now, old Jack has been creaking his way around the big tournaments for the past few years, and has still managed to get in contention in many of them.
