You could argue that any keeper would be letting in goals if he was playing in a team of city's ineptitude. The likes of Chris Kirkland and Paul Jones play behind usless defences but they still seem to pull of heroics every week. More to the point, Wever is so inconsistent. Surely potatohead's prediction of a top 6 finish this season for the bitter's wasn't too unrealistic when they had "£15m rated, future england #1" Nicky Weaver between the uprights. Anyone other than the berties could clearly see that Weaver is in fact a fat reject from Westlife with the physique and fitness of Neville Southall. In Weaver City surely have the most unreliable keeper in the premiership since the days when David 'calamity' James was playing at his peak in the 'legendary' scouse back line of the mid 90's. Nicky Weaver is a brilliant keeper and should be playing in the England set up. He is still under 21 and could be the competition for Richard Wright at the Keeper position. He was thrown into the action at City to "blood in" new players and it worked. Other Stars at the club are mainly confined to Midfield and Attack. Of these, Jeff Whitley is a great prospect. He may be a little short but he can certainly turn it on when needed.He came to Wrexham on loan 2 years ago and was an instant hit.
