I have used various Nivea products for years. Facial moisturisers, body lotions, cellulite lotions etc. I have eczema and I thought the nivea was helping to moisuturise my dry sore skin. After years of waiting, I have just had allergy testing where my products were all tested. As soon as my dermatologist saw that I use Nivea she said it had several common allergens in it, and low and behold after 5 days of testing, I presented with a reaction to it!
My point is, that although the creams are good at moisturising dry areas, if you have sensitive skin, it may be causing irritation and eczema flare ups on a deeper level, so if you suffer from problems, and use nivea - perhaps try cutting it out of your routine and see if you see an improvement!

I'm surprised to be writing about Nivea in this way, as I have been a dedicated user for years. I am however committed to sharing my eczema related findings with the rest of the eczema sufferring community so feel it is my duty to report this discovery!
