Because the club, and the fans that support it, make it one of the best clubs to go to in many ways. The ground is often at capacity, and almost always entirely full - something that many other clubs would love to achieve, which shows ... more

Premium Review Norwich F.C.: Norwich City Football Club - great for Families (362 words)

Norwich may not be doing that well in the Championship - ok, they are doing pretty abysmally........but I am not going to post about board room blunders, lack of available cash to buy players, or coaching tactics. Instead I am going to write about what a fab football club this is to be a part of, especially with families. I have been a NCFC fan all my life - but there are years when I go to several matches, and years when I don't get to many or any at all because of other things getting in my way. BUT, when I am able to go, I thoroughly enjoy it - why? Because the club, and the fans that support it, make it one of the best clubs to go to in many ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The greatest Club in the world! (284 words)

In these days of super rich clubs such as Chelsea, Man U along with the giants of european football. The days of the smaller clubs, especially after the ITV digital crisis seemed to be all but over. As a noriwch fan i look towards a future that seems to lack any promise of the glory of the past. When the premiership was founded Norwich city was a force in the top class of english football, the highlight a 3rd place finish in the 1992/3 season. the subsequent european trip resulted in norwich city being the first english team ever to beat bayern munich in munich. however the sale of top class players, such as chris sutton, preceded a slide into ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Norwich F.C.: Stop Selling Players (496 words)

I have been a City fan for a decade now, time really does fly, and have seen some of the greatest moments in the clubs history of recent years, Our top 3 finish and our fantastic run in Europe the following season the highlight of course. But now it has all gone horribly pear shaped. With Robert Chase leaving us with a hefty £7 million debt to contend with, as is the crisis with many smaller clubs, money is always the issue, and as the bridge between the premiership and the 1st division gets wider every year, so do our chances of actually making it in the big time. All we have ever done is sold players, once we held the British club record, for the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mid-table mediocrity? Nah! (637 words)

I am a beloved Norwich City Supporter, as are my father and my brother. I would watch The Canaries through rain and sun, snow and....well any other bad weather!! Last season i didn't miss a home match, and i thought we were mightily unlucky not to beat the likes of Fulham at Carrow Road. (we lost one-nil, they scored in teh 85th minute, but we were all over them). Our playing wasn't that good last season, as was witnessed at Wolves (4-0) and Derby (3-0). (i only managed the Derby game last season, but as i said, i got all the home matches in!!). The noise at Derby was amazing, and i couldn't believe that the fans stuck through all that! And more of the same ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Norwich F.C.: do we REALLY have a chance?? (551 words)
by - written on 21/07/01 (Very useful, 29 readings)

i have supported Norwich City all of my life. I have had a season ticket for three or four years (in the Barclay end) and have cheered my beloved Canaries till my throat is sore. This coming season i would like to think that we have a chance of at least getting into the playoffs, what with the four new signings (Mark Rivers - Crewe, Clint Easton - Watford, Paul Crichton - Burnley and Neil Emblen - Wolves), but i don't know what kind of chance we stand!! I saw Norwich play at Fakenham (pre-season friendly) and they didn't look to bad but they weren't looking their best either. They struggled to get going before conceding, then picking it up a bit, Iwan Roberts ...  Read the complete review
