Advantages: The support here is amazing

Disadvantages: Would be nice to win a little more often!

Norwich may not be doing that well in the Championship - ok, they are doing pretty abysmally........but I am not going to post about board room blunders, lack of available cash to buy players, or coaching tactics. Instead I am going to write about what a fab football club this is to be a part of, especially with families.

I have been a NCFC fan all my life - but there are years when I go to several matches, and years when I don't get to many or any at all because of other things getting in my way. BUT, when I am able to go, I thoroughly enjoy it - why? Because the club, and the fans that support it, make it one of the best clubs to go to in many ways.

The ground is often at capacity, and almost always entirely full - something that many other clubs would love to achieve, which shows the support, even through the bad times, that the fans have for this club. Season tickets are often completely sold out, with holders returning year after year, again showing the loyalty of the supporters through good times and bad.

Passions run high, with the supporters at this club, as with most football clubs, but one thing I can say is that everyone will look out for everyone else - My son has been split up from me at times but there is always someone who will help, keep an eye on things, without any worry whatsoever.

NCFC encourage families - bringing in the loyal fans of the future, by offering "kids for a quid" matches, by offering half season tickets from just £30 for an under 16, and by running a really good number of community and school projects throughout the year.

Norwich is a small city - and is a city that is proud of its club, whatever the results on the pitch. If you want an example of a club that gets it right off the pitch, then Norwich City is a good one to look at, and one that I am very happy for my children to attend.

Summary: A great football club for families!
