Nottingham Forest F.C.Newest Review: ... after Christmas last season was without doubt relegation standard and if that was to continue into the new season it would be a very worrying time for any Forest fan. Forest need to add a couple of experienced heads if they are to get anywhere next season and Des Walker coming back seems to be the start of that. So far he has looked very comfortable in the games he has played and the ... more |

So having just got back from Forest pre-season in Bordeaux I thought I would write a opinion on how I see the new season panning out. I think first off I have to praise the work done by Paul Hart and his backroom staff. He has not had much to work with and has had to turn to arguably the best youth academy in the country slightly earlier than any manager would like to. Even with the wealth of young talent I feel that this season could be a very tough one. Forest's form after Christmas last season was without doubt relegation standard and if that was to continue into the new season it would be a very worrying time for any Forest fan. ... As promised, I have written an opinion in the Sports Category to mark a certain B’s birthday. Our own sports category guide celebrates her 28th today. ~~Intro~~ I have decided to write about a topic very prominent in my every day life – football. Not just football, but FOREST. a fair chance of playoffs - Advantages: strong youth policy, plenty of young talent, a new belief - Disadvantages: short of old hands, too many want to leave

Nottingham Forest is a very strange club. You see, the problem is that for 18 years they were managed by a man who raised the club to a standard that won them 2 European Cups, that man was Brian Clough. All that is great, at least the club has a successful history and a fairly recent one at that. The trouble is that for many fans (myself included) the club should still be at the very least in the Premier League, why should we be though?? A succession of managers have come and gone and all have been accused of not being up to the challenge. So is there a future for Nottingham Forest or are we now a mid table first division team? Chris Bart-Williams, the club ... Read the complete review

I have been a Nottingham forest fan for over 10 years and to say i'm almost 16 it’s a long time for me but last season it has been hard to even look at the score I used to go to all the matches but as I play football on Saturdays I cant. When David plat became their manager I thought they would do well but last season it was almost like they didn’t want to win any thing. And what about all the money he has spent then just let the players go on free transfers. How he didn’t get the sack I don’t know but now he has gone to England under 21’s will heart give them what they need. He knows the youth players so dose this mean that ... Read the complete review
