Nu Rave
 Nu Rave ... punk, which developed in the UK in 2006.Newest Review: ... to lots of beats simultaneously. I find it very uplifting sometimes! When I first heard rave music in the 1990's the technology to play it back on was somewhat dated. Back then CD players were only just coming onto the market and so the most common piece of equipment for music playback was the cassette player / boom box which may or may not have had some grahic equalizer. I dread to think ... more ... what rave must have sounded like when played on an LP (record player); even tinnier with scratch sounds not from the original piece of music.

This type of music sounds much much better when played back through modern MP3 players such as I-pods or your own computer. Even better, plug in a decent pair of headphones and you will clearly hear every little sound as your brain gets stimulated by listening to lots of beats simultaneously.
