I do enjoy my shopping trips especially if it involves buying shoes, these days a lot of products are bought online and I'm no different when it comes to music, dvds or some electrical items as I tend to buy online but for clothes and shoes where I want to try the item on first then I love to hit the shops, however it can be a bit stressful and expensive if you are not careful.

My first recommendation for taking the stress out of shopping is to leave your boyfriend or husband at home, mine is a real pain while shopping as he hates it unless he is buying something for himself which will rarely take longer than fifteen minutes for him, therefore if you take any longer he starts to moan and be a right grumpy bar steward.

My second bit of advice is to set your budget before you leave and make sure you stick to it, one way I do this is to take the cash out and leave the cards at home so I'm not tempted to spend more than I have budgeted for.

Third avoid the sales unless you need something specific otherwise you will end up buying something you do not really want or need and that will be another clothing item in the wardrobe still with the labels on it never to be removed again.

Finally pick your day trying to avoid the weekends and holidays and the whole thing will be less stressful with fewer crowds.
